JOB SUMMARY: Maintenance is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical machinery and equipment. Maintenance must always demonstrate safe working practices and procedures.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and solve mechanical problems to keep equipment running smoothlyIdentify and perform routine Preventative Maintenance on all equipment Perform preventative and predictive maintenance which may include building or dismantling machinesPerform daily, weekly, and monthly equipment inspectionsProvide documentation and communicate inspection results including necessary corrective actionsReport all facility issues that are not immediately repairable to the Facilities ManagerWhen appropriate, maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelinesIdentify abnormalities and repairs required within the building and advise the supervisors accordinglyMove heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies either manually or by using hand trucksIdentify and repair potential safety hazards/concernsKnowledge of occupational hazards and safety rulesCheck and update SDS paperwork for complianceCompliance with all state regulationsIdentify areas of process improvement, cost, and waste reductionWork in an efficient and timely mannerUndertake relevant training and development as required Carry out duties within a realistic timeline ensuring that deadlines are metMaintain cooperative working relationships and demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for a diverse populationADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbingPlow, sand, salt properties as neededLawn care and parking lot repair as neededRemove snow from walkways using snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicalsSet up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs and trash receptacles to prepare facilities for company events and meetingsFollow company safety policies and safe work practicesInterface with all departments to ensure all equipment is operating properly to avoid disruption of service/productionUnderstand and comply with Lenco safety and environmental policiesSelect the proper safety equipment to be used by employeesSelect proper consumables to be used by employees (grinding, pads, cut off tools, etc.)Forklift and crane ComplianceOther duties as assigned and requested by management to meet the on-going needs of the CompanyEXPERIENCE:Manufacturing equipment diagnoses and repairUse of cleaning/maintenance equipmentUse of grounds keeping equipmentFork lift operationEDUCATION:High School Diploma or GED equivalentCERTIFICATIONS:Fork Lift Operator CertificationHoisting and Rigging CertificationValid Driver LicenseKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Must be meticulous in attention to detailTake and understand measurements Ability to follow directionsAbility to maintain focusMeet deadlinesBasic math skills (add, subtract, divide and multiply)Basic reading abilitiesFollow safety and materials policies and proceduresPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to pass physical examAbility to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
