Our future plans include establishing a unique store and venue in the Hudson Valley, where audiences can engage deeply with our work.Position Overview:OSC is seeking a motivated and talented Managerial and Operations Assistant to support our Director of Operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or a young professional who is passionate about the arts, eager to learn, and looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic non-profit environment. The role primarily focuses on business operations, administrative support, and project coordination rather than direct media production. While it is ideal for the candidate to be on-site or local to Woodstock, NY, remote work is possible for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:Administrative Support: Assist the Director of Operations with day-to-day business tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management.Project Coordination: Support the planning and execution of various projects, including album releases, installations, and events. Help track progress, manage timelines, and ensure tasks are completed on time.Financial and Budgetary Support: Assist with budget tracking, expense management, and financial reporting to ensure projects stay within budget.Research and Reporting: Conduct research on industry trends, potential partners, and funding opportunities. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the leadership team.Marketing Support: Assist in implementing business strategies across digital platforms, including social media management, website updates, and email campaigns. Focus on the business aspects of these strategies rather than content creation.General Office Tasks: Handle routine office tasks such as ordering supplies, organizing files, and managing office equipment.Educational and Experience Requirements:Educational Background:Recent graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Arts Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Skills:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.Basic understanding of social media platforms and tools for business purposes (e.g., analytics, ad management).A passion for the arts and a desire to contribute to a creative, mission-driven organization.Previous experience in a similar role or internship is a plus but not required.Personal Attributes:Eager and Ambitious: A self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow in a business-oriented role within a creative environment.Organized and Detail-Oriented: Capable of managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.Analytical and Strategic: Able to approach tasks with a strategic mindset and contribute to business planning and execution.Team Player: Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and supporting colleagues as needed.Salary and Benefits:Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year for full-time employees, depending on experience.Benefits Package: $10,000 annually, split between comprehensive healthcare and SEP contributions, with flexible allocation.Paid Time Off: 16 PTO days per year, plus standard holidays.Unique Opportunity: This role offers the chance to gain valuable experience in a mission-driven, creative, and contemplative environment.
