Fiducient Advisors provides tailored and personalized investment consulting services to clients such as retirement plan sponsors, endowments and foundations, private clients, and financial institutions. Fiducient seeks a people-centric Head of Human Resources ("HR") to provide oversight and management of the HR and Business Administration functions of the company. The role is responsible for monitoring company HR strategies and solutions with a focus on driving success and meeting business goals and objectives while fostering collaborative working relationships, building morale, increasing productivity, and supporting the firm's culture of respect and inclusion. The Head of HR plays a key leadership role in collaborating with firm partners and executives on all facets of our HR strategy to drive growth and help clients prosper.Responsibilities:Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition:Lead workforce planning to identify and analyze business needs in terms of workforce (size, type, experience, knowledge, skills, and quality) to achieve business objectivesDrive Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) initiatives to ensure a diverse and representative workforceWorking with management, define career paths for employees to optimize career developmentPartner with business leaders to create and execute a recruiting strategy resulting in a qualified talent pool and strong candidate pipelineDevelop and maintain a mentorship program focused on investing in the next generation of talentDevelop and maintain consistent job titles and job descriptions across the business/locationsOversee new employee onboarding and orientation processesPolicies, Procedures, and Employee Relations:Provide counsel and direction to management on employee relations mattersMaintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and city laws and regulations related, but not limited to, employment, employee relations, and compensation Ensure employees are trained on the company's employment-related policies as required by lawInterpret and administer company policies for employees and managementServe as a business partner to senior executives and managers while balancing the role of being an employee advocateMonitor employment practices and decisions ensuring fair, consistent, and ethical practices fostering effective employee relations, reducing turnover, and promoting and maintaining high employee moraleEducate and help employees through the Leave of Absence process Track and monitor employee data and provide proactive executive-level reporting as well as reports responsive to inquiries by various key stakeholdersOversee the payroll process and remedy issues, ensuring appropriate parties are notified and escalating as necessary Occasionally audit payroll registers during peak bonus periods, open enrollment, and to cover team member absencesCompensation:Collaborate with leadership to research, develop, implement, and administer compensation, bonus, and incentive programs and structuresProvide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions, and job re-levelingDevelop and maintain knowledge of trends and an understanding of benchmark data for planning purposesPerformance Management and Development:Drive and facilitate effective performance management practices to create and maintain a high-performance culture Provide coaching and guidance to managers in regard to goal setting, performance reviews, and providing feedback to employeesSupport talent development and training for the businessEmployee Engagement:Manage employee surveys, analyze trends, and provide recommended actionsLead the Engagement Team and co-lead the internal DEIB committee and Culture Club Develop and maintain knowledge of trends and an understanding of best practices deployed across the financial services industryRequired Education, Professional & Technical Experience Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience PHR, SPHR, or comparable HR certification is required A minimum of 8 to 10 years of generalist Human Resources experience High-level knowledge of the financial services industry is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Adobe is requiredExperience with HRIS, ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Benefits Management software is preferredDemonstrated project management experience Knowledge of HR best practices and current regulationsIntellectually curious, proactively researching new HR trends and best practicesAbility to read a situation and address conflict in a proactive mannerEssential TraitsEmpathetic with the thoughtful ability to establish rapport, build relationships, and be an active listener. This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.
