Electrical Maintenance Supervisor/TechnicianJob SummaryThe Electrical Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership, technical support, and direction to the E&I maintenance department responsible for the mill-wide repair and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems in the manufacturing operations. The plant is located in downtown Johnstown, PA. Currently looking for a skilled Electrician Supervisor to support our 24/7/365 mill.Position DetailsProvides leadership, technical support, and direction to the E&I maintenance department responsible for the mill-wide repair and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems in the manufacturing operationsProvides direction and coaching of E&I technicians in their roles, responsibilities and expectations to meet plant objectives in safety, environmental, quality, cost, and customer serviceEnsures that plans, schedules, and materials are available to allow for E&I work to be handled effectively and efficiently (daily and outages)Consistently contributes to the efforts of the Royal Paper employees to safely improve E&I reliability by applying reliability principles such as Reliability Centered Maintenance and Root Cause Failure Analysis to identify the appropriate Predicative and Preventative maintenance proceduresEnsures Electrical Safe Work Practice complianceEffectively communicates results and action plans as appropriateEnsures that employee issues or concerns are correctly addressed and resolvedProvides E&I job planning as required for the areaManages contracted services as requiredUtilizes a computer based Maintenance Management System to manage and provide resultsBasic QualificationsCertificate from an accredited electrical school or higher in electrical OR electrical technology.Five (5) or more years of experience in industrial electrical, industrial electrical engineering, or electrical experience in the militaryElectrical Journeyman licenseTwo (2) or more years of supervisory experienceExperience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)Technical Knowledge Needed & Job RequirementsExperience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Programmable logic controllers (PLC) would be helpfulKnowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)Power distribution (single phase, three phase, low Voltage, medium voltage, high Voltage)Must be effective and comfortable in team-oriented environmentMust be willing to have hands-on involvement with industrial equipment
