Blundstone Marketing Associate Job SummaryThe Marketing Associate is a full-time position, responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote Blundstone. This position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager and works out of the New Jersey office headquartered in New Brunswick.The ideal candidate will be a passionate brand and business builder capable of developing and executing marketing campaigns, overseeing retailer marketing program execution, managing partnership opportunities, and identifying areas for growth. The candidate should have a background in communications, retail marketing, agency management, and asset organization.Marketing Associate Duties and ResponsibilitiesWholesale Marketing and Branded Store support:o Planning, execution, and reporting of marketing campaigns.o Budget reconciliation and communication with sales representatives.o Act as the point of contact for sales associate training modules, recruitment, and sales incentives through ENDVR platform.PR Liaison:o Pitch review and product seeding.Content Calendar Management:o Act as the point of contact for content creators.o Schedule and brief creators.o Synthesize content needs from the larger team.o Plan and maintain content calendars and ensure accountability.Brand Partnerships:o Ideate, plan, execute, and recap brand partnership initiatives.Retail Activations and PR/Giveback Events:o Plan and execute retail activations and PR/CSR events.Product Seeding/POS Management:o Manage product seeding, point-of-sale materials, and promotional item distribution.Marketing Team Administrative Support:o Maintain file structures and provide general team support.o Assist in the creation of marketing decks and presentations.Personal AttributesAgile: Comfortable working in undefined spaces, viewing them as opportunities to make an impact. Comfortable presenting to a global audience.Organizational Planner: Excellent decision-making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.Professional Requirements and QualificationsBachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.1-3 years of marketing experience, preferably with hands-on experience in retailer marketing plans.Experience in creative messaging, copywriting, and creating brand collateral.Understanding of brand perception and partnership programs.Ideally experienced with discovery brands and organic brand building.Informed about the latest brand, consumer, and industry trends, with the ability to articulate these trends confidently.Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Google Docs, and various project and asset management softwareSkillsStrong desire to stay ahead of trends with the ability to research and apply emerging technologies.Brand communication expertise.Creative appreciation.Strong writing skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and a willingness to learn new programs.LocationNew Brunswick, New Jersey.Some travel required.Employment TypeFull-time
