 The Commercial Litigation Attorney plays a crucial role within the legal team, managing complex litigation matters from start to finish. The position focuses on handling discovery, depositions, and leading both courtroom and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) proceedings. This role is key in developing legal strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives, ensuring efficient and effective legal outcomes Key Responsibilities: Handle and manage written discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.Take and defend depositions in various litigation matters.Write, file, and argue briefs and motions in both state and federal courts.Serve as first-chair in courtroom litigation and ADR proceedings.Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop comprehensive litigation strategies.Maintain organized case files and manage litigation timelines to ensure compliance with deadlines. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.2-4 years of experience in commercial litigation.Proven ability to manage multiple time-sensitive cases in a fast-paced environment. Special Requirements: Active bar license in [Regional Location].Ability to meet a minimum billable hour requirement of 1800 hours annually, with potential bonuses for exceeding that threshold.
