Will be required to interface with client, vendors and contractors.Are you the right person for the job?Key RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED and technical degree or relevant industry certification/experienceSignificant experience maintaining industrial systemsStrong safety record with a special emphasis on tool and equipment usageBasic understanding computers or related equipmentStrong communication skills - both written and verbalPhysical RequirementsMust have ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and our pull and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally to lift/move up to 40 lbsMust be able to work on laddersApplicants needing reasonable accommodations are encouraged to applyWhat will your role look like?Electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of motor control center motors (up to 4160 V), power panels (up to 480 volts), instrumentation and control circuitryClean and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)Perform boiler maintenance of controls and equipment (up to 2175 hp)Inspect troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and motor operated valves across a variety of manufacturersMaintain and repair all aspects of building steam and chilled water systemsMaintain cooling tower related gear boxes, fans, wooden frames, etc.Conduct HVAC maintenanceMaintain and repair equipment such asAir scrubbers, tank mixers and water containment systemsSanitary and storm sewer systems (including jetting of lines)Wastewater treatment systemsAC components controls and compressorsAir handles, exhaust fans, Liebert's and fan coilsVariable Air Volume, mixing boxes and related HVAC equipmentPumps and motors up to 250 hp (could include installation)Lab and Clean Room Support includingRebuilding piping that uses acidRunning special control linesRepair and install electrical elements and other equipment to withstand extreme temperaturesRepair specialized lab equipmentPerform electrical maintenance including power circuits, conduit, backup systems etc.Inspect and maintain emergency power system and fire alarm systemDirect POM/PEM as needed - able to perform in absence of POM/PEMCoordinate with Plant System Specialist (PSS) on repair and calibration of various systemsThis job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed within this classification.
