The Specialist will have a solid background in the interdependencies between Operations, Technology Capability areas (key systems, platforms) and departments outside of delivery (Finance, Fund Management, Compliance, Tax). They will have the ability to build relationships with technical and non-technical Zinnia associates.Intake Specialist will have a strong grasp of requirements gathering and estimation. The Intake Specialist will use the estimation catalog to support a quick turnaround. They use internal resources to research current processes and functionality by client. They have strong attention to detail, are problem solvers and can translate between the External Client, Product Management, Information Technology, Operations, and Management teams in order to ensure requirements are captured. The Intake Specialist will provide support to the Client Delivery Specialist.What You'll DoSupport the movement of internal and external project requests through the estimation processLead the initial project scope and estimate activities, including gathering requirementsIncorporate knowledge of the existing client implementation and business offerings as consideration of impact and alignment when driving intake sessionsAssist Capability areas in identifying scope changes and facilitating the dissemination of information to the appropriate to the Client Delivery teamFacilitate estimate planning sessions to ensure efficient use of time and turnaround to the clientEnsure estimates for each client adhere to the Zinnia IT framework and support the clients' business objectiveFacilitate, prepare and review work with resources working a different shiftLead/Facilitate detailed Solution Definition meetings, ensuring track meetings are well defined and address the necessary material to drive to a holistic solutionFacilitate solution planning sessions to ensure efficient use of time with take-aways for internal alignment if necessaryProvide thought equity to identify new processes, innovative business analysis tools and techniques in response to business needsAssist with training program and associated documentation to support knowledge repositoriesWhat You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience3+ years' in business and / or systems analysis or related experience preferred4+ years' experience in Annuity, financial services, or life insurance work experience preferredSolid background in the interdependencies between Operations, Technology Capabilities and department outside of deliveryStrong knowledge and practice of the techniques necessary to manage the activities related to planning and requirements/analysis phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)Hands-on leader who knows the day-to-day aspects of tasks well enough to offer clear direction to team membersOutlook/Word//Excel/PowerPoint experience, with knowledge of Project Management toolsStrong project management skillsStrong Relationship Building skillsStrong analytical skillsExcellent oral/written communications skills and relationship management skillsBonus PointsProficiency in the following skills / traits:Decision MakingPriority ManagementThinking StrategicallyCommitment to ResultsCustomer FocusProblem SolvingActing with Integrity and TrustTeam EffectivenessAdaptabilityWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
