Reports to Chief EngineerOverview The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining an attractive, safe, and fully operable facility located within the 2400 Market Street Complex, requiring property maintenance knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all technical maintenance operations while ensuring a safe secure and comfortable environment for members, customers, and employees. This candidate will be responsible to complete work promptly and professionally with limited disruption to guests.ResponsibilitiesOperate workplace management systemsOversee all fire alarm and other life safety systems and equipmentMaintain all building systems and infrastructureExecute all aspects of maintenance/engineering operationsKeep Chief Engineer apprised of all operational issues dailyMaintain confidentiality of all members and Club informationFollow grooming and uniform standards established for this roleWork as a team, effectively communicating with management and co-workersEnsure that member and associates areas are maintained in a safe and secure environmentPerform all other duties as directed by immediate supervisorsQualifications 5+ years' experience actively serving in a facilities maintenance/engineering role in a hotel or private club environmentTechnical experience in building trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.)Good problem-solving skills and ability to respond to emergency situationsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize and organize work assignments and multi-taskPossess good computer skillsPunctuality and regular attendance.Must be dependable and available to work within the club on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demandsMust have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, polite, and energetic
