Our focus comes from our entrepreneurial management teams dedicated to specific markets and regions.The Role:As a vital member of the operating unit's management team, the selected candidate will oversee the finance and accounting activities of the business. The Controller is responsible for establishing robust financial tools, processes, and business analysis instruments to monitor, control, and enhance business performance. Acting as a strategic partner on the leadership team, the Controller provides essential financial leadership to a global business.Main Duties:· Supervise, organize, and coordinate all financial dimensions of the business, including Financial Accounting, Inventory, Costing, Tax, Payroll, Payables, Receivables, Treasury, Statutory Reporting, and Management Reporting.· Lead and manage the local finance team and finance managers in the international sites.· Ensure all financial operations of business comply with Confidential's Policies & Procedures.· Oversee the monthly accounting close process and generate consolidated financial results for the business unit, supporting corporate financial reporting requirements.· Analyze Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets for manufacturing sites, aiding factory management teams in achieving their financial goals.· Ensure the integrity of the company's global inventory and analyze related costs of goods sold in compliance with US-GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).· Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support decision-making to reduce costs and improve profitability.· Forecast and budget direct material, labor, and overhead costs.· Demonstrate a relentless passion for continuous improvements, technology utilization, and implementation of automated processes.Personal Characteristics: We seek an energetic, hard-working, and adaptable individual capable of providing financial leadership to the operations General Manager, as well as the subunits of the operation, Engineering, and Sales and Marketing functions. The successful candidate must confidently engage with the executive team in developing the business strategy while maintaining a thorough understanding of financial details and business execution. Strong diplomacy and problem-solving skills are essential.Educational Requirements:· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance· At least 10 years of related experience in controlling and finance within industrial/manufacturing companies, public accounting, or tax consultancy.· Proficient knowledge of financial statements, consolidation, and ERP systems focused on manufacturing, acquired through education or work experience.· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
