POSITION SUMMARY:Acts as the liaison between customers and estimation team to ensure a premium quoting and customer service experience. The primary objective is to ensure that our customers have a seamless experience and are satisfied with PTI's services. Customer Service will answer product and service questions, ensure that customers' needs are met, and build relationships through daily communication with clients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Corresponding via email and phone with customers regarding requests for quotesBasic blueprint reading (training will be provided, no experience required)Assemble documentation for estimatorsUpsell products when appropriateData entry into ERP systemEscalation of customer service issues to the appropriate department or manager Provides general feedback to upper management so that they can adjust business strategy accordinglyAdministrative and Receptionist duties as needed (ex. purchasing of office and shop supplies)BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE:5 years in a customer service role preferred but not requiredMust have good organizational and time management skillsAbility to answer a high volume of calls/emails daily with a positive, empathetic, and professional attitudeMust be able to analyze situations relating to customer needs and react accordingly in a timely fashionAbility to work in an open office with ample distractionsMust be able to function independently with a minimum amount of supervisionInterpersonal and problem-solving skills are a mustMust be able to collaborate and work effectively on a teamMust be able to read, write and speak English fluently
