The Banking Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the institutions various banking devices and solutions. This includes managing devices provided by our financial institution, monitoring the institutions armored courier service, and other banking solutions. This position is also responsible for managing the payment card processing terminals and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) in coordination with the Office of Information Technology (OIT).RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, implement, and continuously improve policies, standards, training, and procedures for its banking devices and materialsMaintain reporting and inventory logs of banking devicesServe as subject matter expert for the banking devices and solutionsServe as the point of contact for any issues related to the use of banking devices and assist in the procurement of banking materials. This includes maintaining a relationship with the financial institution's relationship manager, and escalating issues that ariseManage the use of an armored courier serviceOversee and manage the PCI-DSS compliance program, ensuring that all processes, systems, and product offerings adhere to the latest audit requirementsCoordinate with various individuals and departments including counsel and OIT to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to complianceDevelop, implement, and continuously improve the PCI program and trainingsDevelop and implement PCI-DSS policies, standards, procedures, and security enhancement projects to address new or changing compliance requirementsEnsure periodic security scanning and penetration testing are conducted by OIT, risks assessed, and remediation activities are completed within expected timelinesEducate and build awareness of PCI-DSS compliance requirements across the organizationManage the procurement of credit card terminals and other payment gatewaysMaintain reporting of trainings and inventory log of credit card processors, terminals, and handlersManage the relationships with its third-party credit card processor including the establishment of any merchant accounts, updates to merchant's accounts and approve payment processing devices and payment gateways in partnership with the Executive Director of Information/Network SecurityComplete and submit the Attestation of Compliance and Self-Assessment Questionnaire annually in partnership with the Executive Director of Information/Network Security.Serve as the backup for the Cash Management teamAssist in the creation and maintenance of automated clearing house / electronic fund transfer forms and business processesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Two or more years of experience in PCI compliance and treasury management or banking is required.Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) is preferred.Experience with Workday Finance is preferred.Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.Must be able to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Have a strong foundation in customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must demonstrate the ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued.
