We are excited to search and bring on a new team member in our Corporate Accounting department and we are currently recruiting for a Fixed Assets Supervisor to join our team.The Supervisor of Fixed Assets will be responsible for providing business leaders with proactive high-quality financial information and analysis regarding our Fixed Asset portfolio to gain business insight and support decision- making. This role is responsible for the accounting of monthly depreciation & amortization expense, and related balance sheet assets. Responsibilities:Coordinate the review of daily, weekly, and monthly fixed asset transactions and related support (capitalization, transfers, retirements)Supervise fixed asset department activities for construction in process to ensure assets are placed in service timely to begin depreciationOversight of the month-end fixed asset related closing procedures, including management of Peoplesoft & closure of the fixed asset systemReview monthly fixed asset roll forwards, capital expenditure summaries, depreciation and retirement analyses, and other fixed asset account reconciliationsAssist with preparing capital expenditure forecasts to be utilized in cash forecasting and quarterly guidance to analysts. Review/Prepare annual capital expenditure and depreciation budgetsCoordinate and review fixed asset audits of restaurants, quarterly closed store and warehouse storage inventoriesOther duties as assigned, including special onetime projectsQualifications & Education:4-year degree in accounting from an accredited college or university preferredMust have a minimum of 4-5+ years overall experience in accounting or related fieldExcellent software & presentation skills - Excel & PowerPointAbility to travel, estimated 5%The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
