This well-established, international bank seeks candidates to join their Human Resources Department.Key Responsibilities:Answer general HR employee requests and questions, escalating to senior team members as appropriate. Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including employee file maintenance, invoice reconciliation, report generation, and other clerical functions.Assist the HR team with the coordination of HR-related events such as Lunch-n-Learn sessions, holiday parties, charity eventsVerify and monitor I-9 documentation, ensuring data integrity and maintaining current records, including HRIS data input.Assist with recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and supporting the new hire onboarding process, including preparing and reviewing new employee files.Conduct new hire orientations, assist with the onboarding process, and help process terminations.Assist the HR Manager and Senior Generalist with various management reports, monthly reporting, immigration reports, and ad-hoc reports. Complete projects within assigned deadlines.Review and submit non-exempt overtime payroll reports to the Payroll DepartmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or other relevant studies.3-6 years of Human Resources generalist experience, preferably in banking or a brokerage business.HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus.
