We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our National Law Firm with the following essential Key Responsibilities:Prepare, edit, and review a wide range of legal documents, such as correspondence, contracts, and pleadings.Assist with the production of complex legal documentation, including Bates Stamping.Draft basic pleadings and professional correspondence.Manage court filings by preparing copies for submission, organizing service copies, and handling the preparation of attorney service orders; file documents both traditionally and electronically with various courts.Create and maintain accurate Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities using advanced features in Microsoft Word.Finalize and prepare discovery documents, including propounding and responding to discovery requests.Serve as the primary liaison with court personnel to address various administrative matters.Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, conference calls, and mediation dates, while managing calendars, tracking deadlines, and sending reminders.Prepare trial-related materials, including drafting Trial Memoranda and organizing trial schedules.Arrange local and remote depositions, schedule conference rooms, and coordinate with court reporters and videographers as needed.Assist with trial preparations, including assembling trial notebooks, coordinating large copy jobs, and managing deliveries of trial materials to and from the court.Answer phone calls, take detailed messages, and follow up with clients, external counsel, and others as requested by attorneys.Provide additional support for general administrative tasks and office operations as needed.Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally within a law firm setting.Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.A team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and PDF software.Strong knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures.Proven ability to analyze legal documents and ensure accuracy.Able to meet deadlines while delivering excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
