Title: Commercial Lines Insurance - Managing DirectorLocationConshohocken, PA (3x a week in office)Salary$225,000k - $250,000k + bonus + equityOur Top 100 privately held Property & Casualty Insurance Broker is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Insurance professional to step into a Managing Director position. This role will be responsible for growing their PA market presence, both from a headcount and revenue standpoint. Position is open due to growth and our client is looking for an entrepreneurial minded commercial professional who can represent the company in the market. Responsibilities: Will be responsible for overseeing a team of 10-15 employees. Develop and nurture a deep expertise in a vertical market, category, business segment or discipline.Possess a strong financial acumen as well as having prior Profit & Loss (P&L) experience. Take responsibility for scheduling internal client account review meetings, ensuring timely and thorough completion of prescribed process to ensure client retention, always thinking creatively about next steps needed to expand the account. Include executive sponsors as appropriate.Working with the Market Leaders, monitor/oversee all new business activity regardless of line of revenue within their respective practice segment. Assist the sales process as ombudsman with the various corporate resources that may be required in driving the prospective sale to conclusion. Semi-annually or as often as necessary, brief the Regional Sales Leader and the Area President/Area EVP as to the status of all key accounts.Partner with local in-house recruiting team to source, screen, hire, and onboard new producers/brokers. Create positive collaboration with other practices to drive a robust cross sell process. Assist in the recruiting, training, mentoring and review of ales staff subject to the annual practice segment business plan. Integrate the Commercial Lines teams and clients of acquired firms into our established remote and on-site teams.Ensure clients receive the full extent of expertise via account stewardship, specialty resource utilization, and carrier negotiations.Communicate and share information with fellow associates regarding coverage issues, market availability and market conditions.Utilize system capability (EPIC) and properly to maintain complete and accurate data and documents.Requirements:10+ Years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment3-5 Years of experience in leading successful Property & Casualty sales strategiesDeep technical knowledge of Property & Casualty businessMust be a collaborative and passionate leader with high integrity.The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
