Gym Class Coach (Physical Education Coach)

As a PE coach, you'll organize, plan and implement lessons on physical activity, fitness and exercise. You may teach students the fundamentals to intermediate level various games and sports such as basketball, soccer, tail tag, relays, etc. or instruct them in activities like gymnastics or calisthenics. Duties and Responsibilities:? Follow all directives from Company administrators andor Commissioner.? Distribute reports and documentation to administrators, directors, andor athletesas needed to establish organized, compliant, and coherent athletic program.? Teach and coach techniques and skills needed to ensure a successful sports program? Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical trainingnecessary to achieve individual and team success.? Formulate and model moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable socialbehavior, self-discipline, and self-confidence for all athletes.? Collect, distribute, and maintain the athletic equipment during the season.? Instill in each player a respect for equipment and host school property.? Establish a good working relationship with players, parents guardians tocommunicate the needs of participants to improve the skills? Communicate with athletic trainer concerning injuries and participants playingstatus.? Be an advocate of the program to create a high retention rate among currentparticipants.? Maintain the safe environment during sporting events within the facilities. ? Report to the Management pertaining to any disobedience, negligence, and incidents that may occur during programming hours. Requirements? Extensive knowledge of the sport and ability to teach the fundamental skills.? Capability to formulate effective practice plans on a daily basis with progression.? Ability to relate to the players and have open lines of communication withparticipants, parents, and administration.? Strong sense of sportsmanship, self-discipline, and motivation that could bemodeled and transferred to players.? Previous coachingteaching experience especially for kids aged 5-14 years old on a classroom-based setup on either Private or Public Schools (REQUIRED)
