Hospital Registrar - NJ

Position: Registrar Type : Contract Locations: Morristown or Newton, NJ Pay Rate: $26HR Schedule: 5 day, 8 Hours (possible weekend coverage) Evening: 3pm - 11pm Nights: 11pm - 7am Requirements High School Diploma or GED 2 Years expereince within a Clinic or Hospital Setting knowledge of EPIC or IDX Proof of Full Covid-19 Vaccination Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with the registration process. Collect and verify patient information, including personal details, insurance coverage, and medical history. Input data accurately into electronic health record systems such as IDX or Epic. Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records. Answer inquiries regarding services, appointments, and billing procedures at the front desk. Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating referrals as necessary. Utilize ICD-10 coding knowledge to ensure accurate documentation of diagnoses.
