Company:Description:Marsh & McLennan Agency's East Region is a seeking an experienced Business Insurance Producer to join and contribute to the expansion of our growing Middle Market Business Insurance team.The Client Executive (Producer)'s primary responsibility is to find, engage and develop contacts with new Middle Market Business Insurance clients for the East Region of Marsh & McLennan Agency. The Producer will actively seek out cross selling opportunities with existing Employee Health & Benefits clients and cultivate relationships with the Graham Division Production Team to uncover referral opportunities that fit the Middle Market profile. In addition, the Producer will work closely with the Account Executive and Client Service Representative on account strategy and renewals. JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop Quality Accounts: The Producer should solicit accounts that meet Middle Market Business Unit criteria by way of cold calls and emails, networking events, building a network of Centers of Influence, and other prospecting efforts. Subsequently, the Producer will be responsible for producing minimum annual revenue amounts.Identify ClientProspects Business Insurance Needs: The Producer will conduct an initial meeting, asking needs-based questions to assess the client or prospect's business insurance needs. The Producer will then use that information to develop a strategy for the account, in partnership with the Account Executive.Market Account in First Year: On new business, the Producer has the responsibility to use independent discretion and judgment for preparing an Underwriting Submission, as well as marketing the account to insurance companies. The Producer is also responsible for preparing and presenting the written proposal to the insured.Identify Advisory and Consulting Opportunities: Based on account size, complexity, and risk profile, the Producer will identify opportunities for Safety and Claims Consulting engagements as needed. The Producer will collaborate with the Graham Division Advisory Services team to develop account strategy and implement services.Work with Account Managers throughout Renewal Process: The Producer should work with Account Executive to be sure that accounts are satisfactorily managed through the annual policy period and are being renewed properly and that the broadest coverage is obtained for the insured at a reasonable premium.The Producer is also responsible for supporting the Account Executive to develop a close working relationship with hisher accounts. The Producer works closely with the Account Executive to bond the Account Executive to the account.The Producer will meet regularly with the Head of Advisory to strategize regarding prospect pipeline, and review sales goals and performance.Pursue a program for personal and professional development and maintain appropriate state licenses.Attend meetings relating to your position.JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.Three (3) to five (5) years' professional experience required.Prior Business Insurance sales experience required.Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment.Excellent management skills and ability to deal with people.High level of organizational ability.Demonstrated sales skills.High degree of self-discipline and motivation.High degree of intelligence with excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as math skills.Ability to manage an Assistant.Holds required and appropriate insurance agent's license.Maintain a valid Driver's License or alternate efficient and effective means to visit clientsprospects.Professional demeanor.Proficient in Graham standard computer applications.Regular and predictable attendance in accordance with the limitations and reporting procedures established by The Graham Company from time to time.
