Supervises Inpatient clerks to ensure clerical support which includes but not limited to assigning work scheduling clerical staff, timesheets, reviewing work and ensuring compliance with all clerical related functions charge.2.Ensure unit telephones and patient call bell system are answered timely. Follow up on providernurse request for contact with family members when directed.3.Ensure and follow up on work orders for repairs, supplies and maintenance. Conduct daily rounds to maintain environment of care standards are municate with the Operations Center to ensure bed assignment and report delays in dischargesreasons. Make sure Bill of Rights packages are distributed to patients.5.Ensure (24) hour discharge notices are distributed to patients and followed up when requested with the clinical staff. Communicate with clinical staff to ensure compliancefallouts.6.Follow of on all Transportation request. Contact patient's insurance provider when there is an issue with approvals.7.Follow up with clerical staff regarding follow up appointments and contact the Ambulatory Care or designee with problems regarding ensuring appointments for patients being discharged. 8.Ensure training for all new clerical staff, evaluations and educational trainingclasses in compliance with Human Resources and departmental in-services.9.Maintain a log on all 1- 2 -6 Code as directed and monitor telephones during the 1- 2- 6 Code.10.Ensure specimens are picked up timely. Ensure telegramsvisitors restrictions and other items are sent to the appropriate staffdepartments.11.Conduct monthly Town Hall meetings and follow up on all issues as related to the meeting. Ensure minutes are taken and distributed to staff.12.Maintains compliance with infection control.13.Ensures as safe and secure environment free of hazards to reduce the risk of injury to all customers (patient, visors and staff).14.Knowledge of diversity in the work place.15.Participates in the Performance Improvement activities.16.Dresses in a professional manner.17.Utilizes the EPIC system to correctobtain patient's demographical information.18.Participates in team building activities. Always practice ICARE Model19.Ensures compliance with yearly mandates.20.Review transportation request prior to approval with the goal to decrease the number of bills to hospital authorizations.21.Trackreport discharges to the Operations Center on each tour to the Operations Director or designed.Minimum Qualifications1. A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and2.
