Our hallmarks of responsiveness, availability, dependability, and competency are among our highest priorities.About the RoleThis role is a Senior Analyst position responsible for supporting the Portfolio Management Team at Jordan Park. The focus of this role will be to support the team in the operations, oversight, and management of the underlying portfolio investments of Jordan Park's clients. This would include daily implementation, rebalancing and execution of client portfolio investments across Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs), ETFs, and Mutual Funds. This role will also offer the opportunity to work with the broader team to support investment efforts across a variety of strategies and asset classes. Responsibilities for the role include:Daily monitoring of portfolio positioning, trade executions, cash management and compliance within client guidelines andor restrictionsUse proprietary tools and data management systems to rebalance and optimize clients' portfoliosWork with Client CoverageInvestment Teams to address client requests and manage events throughout the client's lifecycle, such as account openings, cash flows, rebalances and tax loss harvestsWork closely with Sub-advisors and Fund Managers to communicate objectives and strategies, facilitate their funding and account setup, and resolve any discrepanciesSupport ongoing efforts to optimize the trading and portfolio management systemsWork closely with the Operations and Compliance Managers to document procedures and monitor that portfolios are following investment guidelines and mandatesWork to support broader team across Public, Private, and Alternative asset classesAssist Portfolio Managers with the implementation and execution of investments held within Jordan Park's investment vehiclesObserve existing workflows, identify weaknesses, and propose more efficient processesAssist with client account onboarding and structuring by determining strategies that are in line with the client's objectivesAssist Client Coverage by managing the client's liquid portfolio and acting as a junior Portfolio ManagerAbout YouThis role might be right for you if you: Have a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant work experienceAre comfortable working market hoursHave experience in Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations or client serviceHave experience with trading order management (Addepar) and reporting systemsHave experience at a broker-dealer, RIA, multi-family office, or relevant firmHave a strong interest in investments and portfolio managementHave strong Microsoft Excel skillsAre highly detail-oriented, accurate, and self-motivatedAre able to work well both independently and as part of a teamLove taking on challenges and finding creative solutionsAre very organized and can handle a multitude of tasks at onceCan communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders and personalitiesAre discreet in handling sensitive and confidential informationPreferred, but not required: Have a deep understanding of Equity and Fixed Income marketsLeveraged Python, SQL, VBA, or APIs to schedule, automate, and streamline tasks and processesHave exposure using Addepar for analysis and reportingCompensation & BenefitsCompensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits and other perks. We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.The expected base salary for this role in New York, New York will range from $85,000 - $100,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
