This role will be responsible for enabling our entire organization to learn valuable new skills and methodologies that drive process improvement and operational excellence. If you're the kind of person who has a passion for creating a culture of continuous improvement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's future and sustained success.Specifically, the Continuous Improvement Lead will:Develop and execute a comprehensive Continuous Improvement strategy aligned with the company's goalsIdentify, prioritize, and lead Continuous Improvement projects that will enhance operational efficiency, quality, and productivityServe as a mentorleader of multi-functional teams throughout OTTOBe a significant contributor to developing and promoting a continuous improvement culture at all levels of OTTOTrain teams on the concepts of continuous improvement and lean principles and lead efforts to help teams to utilize Continuous Improvement tools to analyze process, identify waste and implement solutions; develop necessary training materials when appropriateHelp team's function efficiently and effectively in pursuit of goals Help establish goals and objectives in conjunction with senior managers for continuous improvement teamsMonitor and report progress; develop and track Continuous Improvement metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and regularly report progress and results to senior management and other stakeholdersWhat you'll need to bring to the table:Knowledgeable in continuous improvement and lean principlesExperience in leading continuous improvement or lean manufacturing teamsBachelor's Degree - Engineering Degree strongly preferred10+ years prior production experience in electro-mechanical products strongly preferredMust possess natural leadership skills with a strong ability to communicate verbally and in writingSkilled in Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Project or equivalentsMust be goal oriented in approach to continuous improvementIs comfortable and effective in interacting with all management levelsRequires self-motivation and ability to complete objectives independentlyWhat OTTO offers for this specific position:The hiring range listed in this posting is what we, in good faith, anticipate relying on when confirming a base salary for this position; exceptions may be considered for highly experienced candidates with multiple years of at-level experience.Target base salary hiring range: $85,000 to $110,000, based on qualifications and experience.Profit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that it's fair to share the profits that the employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employees twice a year.
