You're excited to develop practices that lead Madwell's efforts to create more powerful and inclusive marketing campaigns.What You'll DoAs Strategy Director at Madwell, you'll be responsible for developing strategies across all phases of our client accounts. This could include initial brand strategy, ongoing campaigns, one-off activations, and even new productfeature launches. You'll balance your time between rolling up your sleeves to work with your internal colleagues and working directly with the client to sell, promote, and defend our work. You'll be our in-house expert on everything related to the client's business, brand, and target audience and you'll routinely identify new opportunities and insights to inspire our team.As an experienced strategy leader, you'll utilize our existing tools and processes while adding your own unique expertise to ours, training and mentoring others along the way. You'll also be responsible for advocating for and supporting the strategy process within the agency.Specifically, you'll be:Developing, refining, and documenting brand strategies and campaigncomms strategies across 1-2 accounts while supporting other smaller accountsListening to our client's business needs and delivering strategies that meet and exceed their objectives and KPIsUncovering and interpreting relevant cross-cultural and social trends with a focus on driving brand initiatives across multiple communitiesProvide thought leadership around cross-cultural consumer marketing based on data driven insightsLeading the development of consumer profiles for client, creative and strategy teams to foster a deep understanding of audienceconsumerFostering an understanding of consumer insights and behaviors Overseeing, and conducting if necessary, primary field research including interview, focus groups, or other innovative methodologiesUncovering new and unexpected insights and data from resources including Mintel, Resonate, and other platforms, and weaving them into compelling storiesCollaborating with Media and Comms Planning teams to identify innovative ways to connect with relevant audiences throughout the customer journey Writing and presenting reports, decks, thought pieces, and other senior level internal and client documentationOur Must-HavesDeep yet varied experience across many aspects of strategy: brand, comms, social, paid media, experiential, digital, go to market, etc.Strong working knowledge of consumer insight tools and resourcesProven ability to build and document brand and marketing strategiesExperience working with and advising VP and executive level clientsWhere You've BeenSTRATEGY DIRECTOR: 8+ years working in strategy or account planning either in a creative agency setting or on the brand sideLines of ReportReporting to: Strategy Director reporting to Head of Integrated StrategyDirect reports include: Junior and mid-level strategists Madwell ValuesAdaptabilityExperimentationIndependencePeopleDiversityInitiativePartnershipSafe SpaceOpen MindsetDiscipline of VisionIf you're interested in learning more about our values, check out our website: Our Diversity CommitmentThe stress of job searching can make you wonder if you're enough.
