Both are equally important.What you'll doBuild and support highly visible recurring deliverables including month-end reporting and financial forecastsPartner with CEO to maintain the P&L and related materials for quarterly board meetings, while being accountable for core financial assumptions, quality, timeliness, and accuracyTrack and report revenue earned vs. revenue owedManage billing and invoicing processes to collect on revenue from customersPrepare detailed financial materials for fundraising effortsHandle tax-related responsibilitiesDevelop and update models projecting financials for the business over short and long-term timeframesPerform ad-hoc analyses to refine strategic pricing strategies for existing and new productsDevelop the FP&A function as a core, high impact, and trusted function at the companyWhat you'll need to get the job done3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, FP&A, business finance, or private equity experience.Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and GAAP principlesExceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions rapidlyAdvanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets and its use for financial analysis, planning, and reporting.Ability to multitask and maintain a high level of performance under tight timelinesFamiliarity with tax filings and complianceHigh attention to detail, pride in your work quality, and emphasis on always being a truth-seekerLow ego and a hunger to get involved in more than one areaWhat we offerInteresting and challenging workCompetitive base salary + generous early employee equity + benefits100% medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for you and your dependents (U.S.)Unlimited PTOParental leaveBeautiful NYC office in the heart of Flatiron
