Audit Associate - Local Planning

A financial services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their new Audit Associate - Local Planning. In this role, the Audit Associate - Local Planning will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support and system user guidance to the Internal Audit Department team on their use of audit management system. Responsibilities: The Audit Associate - Local Planning will: Be a point of contact to the Audit Execution team for first line support on the Audit Management system answer specific IAD Audit management system related questions Handle and maintain Audit Management system data, more specifically, Auditable Entity Structure and Audit Plan Data maintenance Monitor audit management system workflows, clear up any pending transactions and resolve user issues Monitor staff appointments and timesheets, issues management exception handling, reconciliation of archer issues with central issue tracker and support operational planning activities Monitor audit engagements and support auditees on audit operational activities Trend the support questions and tickets monthly Proactively create user guides andor training content and course based on commonly asked questions Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: 2+ years of Internal andor External Audit experience out of Financial Services setting Bachelor's Degree Experience working in an Audit function Experience in providing Operational Support and Executive Reporting Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint) Build a deep knowledge of Audit methodology, including its underlying standardsregulatory requirements Solid problem solving and time management skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Experience in Business Intelligence
