A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed NP or PA with a focus in pain management to join their growing team at one of their facilities in the Bronx. About the Opportunity: Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: Standard business Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Responsibilities: The NPPA will: Support the part-time Pain Management PA with the comfort level to Rx opioid meds following guidelines. This is a prescribing position; willing to train the right candidate with some interestbackground in pain management. Outpatient experience with underserved population strongly preferred. Maintain legible and appropriate documentation of medical records Participate and attend provider meetings Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: NP: Master's Degree (NP), NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) license PA: Bachelor's degree (PA), NCCPA Certification Current Registration to Practice in New York State.
