Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWelcome to Center for Family Life in Sunset Park Center for Family Life (CFL) is a social services organization that aims to promote positive outcomes for children and adults in Sunset Park through the provision of a comprehensive range of neighborhood-based family and social services. Sunset Park is a densely populated, low-income neighborhood with a large percentage of recent immigrants. As such, the Center offers access to resources that families need to thrive, including family counseling, cultural, educational, and recreational programs at neighborhood public schools, adult and youth employment programs, and an emergency storefront for food and advocacy. Situated within CFL's range of services, the Cooperative Development Program helps low-income immigrant workers start and scale their own businesses to earn a living wage. Our program is looking for a customer service representative to join our team and work with the growing worker-owned cleaning cooperative and online platform Up & Go. Your role is key in helping the business run smoothly and supporting worker-owners and clients. The role: As the liaison between customers and worker-owners, the customer service representative will process orders placed through the Up & Go booking platform and assign them to worker-owners based on the internal job roster. You will provide excellent customer service to clients as well as support and troubleshooting for worker-owners. What you'll do: Learn the job assignation and service policies used by Up & Go to manage incoming inquiries and communicate effectively with clients and worker-owners. Respond appropriately and professionally to customer questions and needs. Handle customer complaints by offering solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Know Up & Go's service options and policies to be able to answer any questions from customers. Efficiently process orders and assign worker-owners to the jobs. Work with team members when necessary to resolve customer complaints. Provide feedback to the rest of the team to help improve sales, marketing, and service policies. Invoice commercial cleaning customers monthly and track all invoices in excel. Accompany worker-owners in person to commercial walk-throughs to support communication and negotiation with the client. Support worker-owners in creating estimates and drafting contracts for commercial jobs based on the walk-through and client budget. Manage contract negotiations between worker-owners and clients when necessary. What we're looking for: Bilingual EnglishSpanish requiredProfessional and clear communicator Experience in customer service or sales, especially in the service industry A warm, people-oriented demeanor Team player and enjoys working collaboratively Detail-oriented Basic computer skills, with experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite Bachelor's degree preferred, or high school diploma with experience in customer service We want you to feel comfortable being yourself and to know you're an important member of our team. You'll make an impact in your role, and for that, you'll be appreciated and valued. Work Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hoursweek, 9:00AM - 5:00PM. Occasional evening or weekend meetings (e.g. when accompanying worker-owners to walk-throughs). You are expected to work 3 days a week in person, in our office located in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
