JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent Project Manager to oversee the execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This hybrid role combines both hands-on site supervision and comprehensive project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure all aspects of construction are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.As a Superintendent Project Manager, you will be the key point of contact for project stakeholders, responsible for coordinating daily on-site activities, managing project teams, and ensuring that all project requirements and objectives are met. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Management:- Project Planning & Coordination: Develop and implement detailed project plans and timelines. Ensure that all phases of the construction process are efficiently managed and that projects remain on schedule.- Budget & Financial Management: Create and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints. Work with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to control costs and ensure financial objectives are met.- Procurement & Material Management: Oversee procurement of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring that deliveries are on time and that resources are used efficiently. Ensure the proper handling and storage of materials on-site.- Quality Control: Monitor all aspects of construction work to ensure adherence to client expectations and company standards. Supervision & Leadership:- Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day activities on the job site. Provide direction and guidance to subcontractors, crew members, and other on-site personnel to maintain high levels of productivity and quality.- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, and motivate the on-site construction team, including subcontractors, laborers, and supervisors. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Address on-site challenges and resolve any issues promptly, including delays, safety concerns, or conflicts among team members. Proactively seek solutions to minimize project disruptions. Client & Stakeholder Communication:- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, resolving issues, and ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.- Stakeholder Coordination: Communicate with architects, engineers, project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design and technical specifications are adhered to and that all parties are aligned throughout the project lifecycle.- Reporting: Prepare regular project reports detailing project status, schedule updates, cost tracking, and any issues that need to be addressed. Ensure that key stakeholders are kept informed.- Compliance & Documentation: Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the project complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including building codes, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.- Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain thorough and accurate records of all project activities, including change orders, permits, inspection reports, daily logs, and safety documentation.- Permit & Inspection Coordination: Work with local authorities to secure necessary permits and ensure that inspections are scheduled and passed in a timely manner. QUALIFICATIONS:- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction management, with a strong background in both site supervision and project management.- Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead teams, supervise subcontractors, and coordinate multiple teams and activities simultaneously. Strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills. Ability to identify potential problems on the job site and take proactive steps to prevent delays or cost overruns.- Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building materials, safety standards, and applicable building codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications.- Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills with experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. Familiarity with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam, etc.) is a plus.- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in all weather conditions and navigate job sites that may include lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing physical tasks when necessary.recblid f2ew53pvqbwhcjma48m1xmygypspd0
