Security Guard

Position Description: Provide security and crowd control. Will be stationed in certain areas throughout the event location. Will be responsible for walking around the parking lots and event area, directing participants to parking lotsstructures and event space, answering questions, maintaining visibility. We are expecting 500 participants over the course of 4 hours. Would like one person to serve as a lead security guard.Skills Required: Ability to interact with the public in a professional mannerSkills Preferred: Experience Required: security experienceExperience Preferred: Education Required: high school diploma or GEDEducation Preferred: Additional Information: This assignment is only for a 5-hour shift on the day of the outreach event (August 24, 2024). The event will be held at the ASU Chandler Innovation Center, 249 E Chicago St, Chandler, AZ 85225 9am-1pm. Security must be on site from 7:30 am - 12:30 pm.
