Job DescriptionAccess-A-Ride Evaluator (In office)Salary Range: $35 - $45 per hourASSOCIATE DEGREE; BACHELOR DEGREE STATE LICENSE BILINGUALMust be available to work 9 am to 5 pmFlexible; Part-time and or full-timeNo physical work required. This position is an administrative (office) roleAbout the role: The Access-A-Ride Evaluator assumes part andor full time responsibilities in an assigned facility. This is a professional position with the primary responsibility of evaluating Access-A-Ride applicants for program eligibility. Additional duties of an administrative nature are to be performed and as assigned.Daily Tasks and Job ResponsibilitiesConforms with the AAR MTA guidelines in formulating MTA AAR recommendationsAssumes responsibility in reviewing related medical records and previous recommendations (if applicable) that may influence the evaluators' recommendationAssumes responsibility for the screening, evaluation and assessment of MTA AAR applicants that are scheduledReviews medical information and conducts screenings prior to evaluations to determine patient need for transport services and ability to benefit from the MTA AAR programCoordinates communicates with the AAR Supervisor in resolving concerns related to applicant's documentation and records that may influence the recommendationAssumes responsibility for continual professional growth and development, by participating in continuing education programs, training programs conducted by the MTA and other appropriate learning experiencesMaintains accurate billing information in accordance with facility procedures on a daily basisAdheres to documentation requirements of the Rehabilitation department and the facilityAssumes responsibility in completing documentation within the acceptable time frameConducts staff trainingeducation as appropriate via formal and informal in-services and consultationsRequirementsBachelor's in Physical Therapy, Bachelor's in Nursing, or Associate Degree in License Practical Nursing with a current state license and registration. Must be Bi-Lingual with excellent oral, written communication skills and demonstrate competency in aspects of assessments and evaluation principles.Bachelors andor Associate's Degree, current state license, excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrate competency in therapy treatment and evaluation principles, techniques, materials and equipment utilization and demonstrate knowledge of state and federal accreditation standards.BenefitsIn office positionFlexible work schedule, full-time or part-time available depending on your preferenceAdministrative role onlyFor full-time role- benefits are included
