Business Analyst for Financial Lending System, Japanese Bilingual Preferred_ 55973 Job Num: 55973 h5Job DescriptionJapanese IT service company seeks Japanese bilingual Business Analyst for financial lending lending system (Finastra LoanIQ).Location: Midtown and Jersey CityDepartment: Financial ConsultingEmployment Type: ContractWork Environment: Work is performed in clients' office ( mainly in Manhattan) if required, or work from home.This person is expected to be a Business & System Analyst with experience in supporting business analysis and product management for lending system.Following are three key functions provided by this role: (a) work with the business users, product managers and project managers to assessanalyze their business requirements and roadmap for future needs; and (b) manage projectsinitiatives while working along with internal customers as well as external vendors and (c) provide ongoing production support for assigned systems once the system has been implemented in production.1) Project Management Business AnalysisConduct businesssystem analysis for assigned projects and user requests and provide recommendations for changes by collaborating with business users and lending package software vendors (Finastra).Conduct data analysis on the data retrieved from lending systems and utilized downstream systems to document end-to-end data flows through various business and system processed.Conduct fit and gap analysis between current lending system (Finastra LoanIQ) and new lending system (FIS ACBS) in terms of the data retrieved from those systems for downstream systemsManage projects of carious sizes and scope; createupdate project plan, design specifications and other documents such as testmigration plans, evaluations, SLA, etc.Undertake complete ownership of assigned tasks and manage own priorities and time allocation with minimal daily supervision.2) Systems Support (in a later stage)Support, maintain, upgrade and leverage the banks investment in third party vendor applications, primarily systems involved in the lending line of business.Provide timely support to user queries and troubleshoot for higher priority issues.Perform various levels of Systems Testing and managecoordinate user acceptance testing.3) Policy & Procedures (e.g., responsible for review and or drafting policy and procedures)Follows the policies and procedures of the customer, including but not limited to the Project Promotion Procedures, the System Trouble Reporting Procedures, and the Production Release Approval Procedure for releasing applications into a production environment.Job Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.At least 8-10 years of prior work experience in the financial services industry.3-5 years of experience in the lending business management systems.Experience in data analysis.Experience in Finastra Loan IQ andor FIS ACBS Strong knowledge of lending business.Experience with evaluation and testing of vendor packages.Prior trainingcertifications for Finastra LoanIQ are preferable.Programming skills for C, C#, Python, Java are preferable.Understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL & OracleKnowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Visio, MS Project, GitHub and Confluence, JIRA and ServiceNow (or similar products).Fluent in English and JapaneseTo apply, please email your resume to DetailsCity: New York State: NY Job Type: Permanent Job Salary High: 264000.00 Salary Low: 240000.00 Languages: English;Japanese Hours of Operation: Benefits: Health Ins;Dental Ins;Vision Ins;401K;Life Ins;Long-term Disability;Paid Time Off;Paid Holidays;Sick Leave Contact InformationJob Owner: Natsumi Yamamoto Job Owner Email :
