DME Receptionist (Bilingual)

Doubek Medical Supply is a local, independently owned medical equipment provider offering a full range of respiratory equipment and accessories for the homecare patient to aid in a better quality of living. We are currently seeking a full-time Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Receptionist (bilingual) to join our team in Alsip, IL.The DME Receptionist must be eager-to-learn and possess a diligent work ethic. They must be able to speak with patients over the phone with compassion and confidence. DMEHME industry experience is preferred, but not required.Schedule: Monday-Friday The DME Receptionist's primary role is to ensure that new and current client relationships are nurtured while effectively, accurately, and efficiently receiving and directing incoming calls. This person must be fluent in both English and Spanish to serve patients who speak either language. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Answer phones and monitor inbound fax queue to receive incoming orders from clients and referral sources in a timely and courteous mannerDirect incoming calls to the correct department to ensure patients' needs are metCall New Clients to Take Orders and verify information for assigned product groupsEnter, Print, Fax, & Confirm CMNs in company computer database for assigned product groupsDocument in the appropriate section of the patient notes in the company computer database all communicative work performed on behalf of our clients Address clients' and referral sources' complaints, concerns, problems, and requestsFollow-up on the procuring of required patient file documentation ("follow ups") in a timely mannerLog all client complaints in the Complaint section of the patient notes in the company computer databaseOther duties as assignedRequirements:High school graduate or equivalentMust be bilingual in SpanishProfessional, positive demeanor with excellent customer service skills a mustWillingness to learn a new skill setStrong attention to detail and ability to follow upMust be able to demonstrate a basic computer skillsMust be able to work alternating SaturdaysDoubek Medical Supply (DMS) is a durable medical equipment supplier specializing in the delivery of medical supplies and equipment to patients' homes.
