In light of this, the business is seeking a consultant to cover Model Risk Audit, to be based in New York.Job DescriptionLead and manage the preparation of audit plans to ensure that the scope, approach, resourcing and logistics of an audit are appropriately plannedManage and lead a team of staff at all different levels and be able to motivate, encourage and challenge them to provide very high quality and value-added resultsAssist in the development and maintenance of the IA Model Risk coverage program to assess alignment with regulatory requirementsExecute testing of Model Risk audits and individual model assessmentsContribute to the completion of the annual model risk audit planEffectively communicate with model risk business partnersAnalyze information to identify risks and trendsContinuously enhance both audit skillscapabilities & subject matter knowledge of model risk validation developmentAdvise key stakeholders and senior management on the major plans, projects and structural changes that will impact their businessAbility to work effectively with regulators, external auditors, consultants, ExecutiveSenior Management and other control functions such as Compliance, Risk Management and Finance, global audit units and governancesteering committees amongst othersMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
