For the sixth year in a row Strategas was voted the top macro research provider on Wall Street, with ranked analysts in Portfolio Strategy, Economics, Washington Policy, Tax & Accounting and Technical Analysis.Our sales team is seeking an institutional equities sales professional, who is highly driven and excels at building relationships. This person will work closely with a senior salesperson, with a primary focus on building client relationships. In this position, this person will be exposed to a broad array of macroeconomic research products, which are marketed to the investment management, mutual fund, pension fund and hedge fund community.As a Junior Institutional Equities Sales Professional, you will:Work in a structured sales team environment, with a primary focus on building prospective and enhancing existing client relationshipsUtilize a proactive and consultative sales partnership approach to client relationships, including creating client interactions and engaging clients with Strategas resources (research insights, analyst connections, and conferences)Prospect and develop new institutional client relationshipsTravel several times per year to client locations in the USCollaborate with established Strategas institutional sales professionalsLearn to be an expert of Strategas research products and trading capabilitiesParticipate in daily morning meeting at 7:30 a.m. Eastern Time and contribute to the team's daily client impactCollaborate and communicate with groups within the Equities business, i.e. Sales Trading, ResearchSupport general office management - supplies, inventory, kitchen upkeep, reception duties and general clerical responsibilitiesMaintain customer databases and contact listsWhat makes this opportunity great:Fast-paced environment that will enable you to grow as a professionalUnique culture that values diverse backgrounds and perspectives while emphasizing teamwork and a strong sense of partnershipWhat we look for:Bachelor's Degree1-2 years professional experience.
