We are continuing to grow and have an excellent opportunity to join the Campos EPC Power Delivery Team as a Substation Engineering Manager in our CentralMountain region! The role is responsible for the execution and development of substation project work in Campos EPC's growing Power Delivery group in the assigned region. This includes leading business development efforts, proposal development, process development, hiring and growing a team, technical distribution project execution and client management. Ultimately this role ensures that project requirements are met or exceeded during the execution of projects. This role will require regular in-office presence at our regional office locations and will also require some domestic travel.This role requires an experienced and highly competent substation engineer familiar with including distribution and high voltage substations, who ensures that project deliverables are met or exceeded during execution. Job DutiesActively promote Campos EPC's culture of safety; demonstrate safety leadership in internal meetings, client meetings and fieldwork.Respond and write proposals for competitive RFPs, and prepare estimates for electric services andor EPC workLeads project team in technical conceptual design and procurement phases of substation projects up to 500kVManages schedule, budget, and scope of services andor EPC projectsInterfaces between the client, external stakeholders and internal stakeholders to ensure project successAbility to work in both a corporate and field environmentPossess and maintain in-depth knowledge of electric substation principles, practices, procedures, methods and standardsPhysical Design - Engineering and design of equipment, structures, duct banks, grounding, lighting, static protection, relay housesP&C Design - Protection and control systems, one-linethree-line diagrams, wiring and connection diagrams, relay schemes, comm systems.Developreview complex electrical system models (ETAP, PSLF, PLSCAD) and validate various system study findingsrecommendations.Familiarity with utility Outage Planning; experience with and leadership of outage planning is a plus.Schedule and attend field walk-downs with internal team, customers, subcontractors, and construction personnel.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSSubstation projectEPC experience 7+ yearsBachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or equivalent and 7+ years of related working experienceField experience in the electric utilities sector working with crews is preferredPrevious experience leading teams is preferredProfessional Engineer licenseStrong communications and ability to connect directly with clients; business development experience preferredThis role has 25+% travel to Project Sites and client officesSALARY: $150K-180K base salary depending on experience and locationWHY CAMPOS EPC?Campos EPC offers industry leading pay, a great team environment, and a rewards system that aligns your compensation with your success.
