Founded by Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group, The Modern is a two Michelin-starred, contemporary American restaurant at the Museum of Modern Art. The restaurant's design by the New York-based architecture firm Bentel & Bentel offers a welcome escape from the bustling Midtown neighborhood it calls home.Who you are: The Baker is responsible for the daily preparation, production, and finishing of all bread items for the restaurant. This position may entail working in a variety of techniques including, but not limited to scaling, mixing, shaping, and baking of naturally leavened bread doughs.
