Quality Systems and Safety managerThe Quality Systems and Safety Manager will be responsible for leading the systems and safety teams that supports the Arens Williams Business Unit. The incumbent will be responsible for all systems related quality and safety activities with a goal to maintain compliance with international, customer, and corporate standards. Location: Arlington Height, IL We Take Care of Our People:Paid Time Off I 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Referral Program I Competitive Pay I Recognition I Employee Stock Purchase Plan I Inclusive & Supportive CultureYour Challenge:Maintains compliance to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, ISO 14001, and Corporate Safety programsLeads the certification and maintenance processes for the standards listed above, filling the role of management representative as defined by the standardDirects and monitors processes and ensures compliance with all applicable state, federal, and company-designated regulationsManages internal audit programs related to international standards, customer and corporate requirements.Maintains oversight quality management system and ensures continuous quality improvement by addressing deficiencies in a timely manner and communicating concerns to the appropriate partiesOwnership of all Quality System and Safety DocumentationLeverages a strong foundation in Six Sigma and Lean methodology to support continual process improvementPerform quality and safety trends analysis and reportsMaintains close working relationships with departmental managerssupervisors to assure proper support of the quality and safety systems at each location. Provides guidance to and counsels employees.What you bring:7+ years' experience in an automotive manufacturing companyBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related disciplineDemonstrable leadership skills and people management capabilityAbility to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams in process improvement initiativesExperience with the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001:2000 andor IATF 16949 applied to both manufacturing and product development.
