Visit this link to see what they have to say.What will you be doing?Swim Instructors are responsible for ensuring the success of swim lessons by:Ensuring you and your team are set up for success at every lesson by preparing your class materials and reviewing your lesson themesTeaching 4 swimmers per class by going through a well-established and proven curriculum of water safety, swim and swimplay skills (6 swimmers in our infant, parent-and-me style lessons). Each lesson lasts 30 minutes and is followed by the next lesson consecutively for a 4-hour municating progress and celebrating accomplishments with parents and caregivers at the end of classLifeguarding and supervising lessons as requested or neededYou'll guide new swimmers through their first days at Goldfish and be there to support them as they progress from mini and junior swimmers to gliders and pros!What can we offer you?A built-in growth track that will help you grow from swim instructor to lifeguard, Golden Teacher, Deck Supervisor and beyondConsistent, 4-hour shifts (mostly after school and weekends ) so you'll always know what day and time you're workingFlexibility to pick up or add extra hours as a substitute teacher if you want themThe only thing better than an outdoor lifeguard summer pool job - we're open all year round and it's always 90 degrees and sunnyRecognition and rewards - Gift cards, swag or pizza after a long day in the pool, staff outings, community involvement events and company-sponsored events like baseball games, and bowling.Support from your leaders and your team both at work and in life, whether that's inviting you to bring your friends on board or providing open, honest communication in a positive environmentWhat will be expected of you?Availability for set groups of lessons (no half-shifts or mid-shifts available). Our instructors are scheduled based on set lesson times from:4:00-8:00 Monday through Friday8:30-3:30 on Saturday8:30-3:30 on SundayEmployees must be able to arrive 10 minutes before swim lessons start to set up and participate in the pre-shift meetingAbility to work the same part-time scheduled days every week (Ex. Every Monday from 4:00-8:00)You have to be patient & genuine - every swimmer learns at their own pace, in their own way.
