An award-winning Engineering firm is seeking an energetic, proactive Administrative AssistantReceptionist to join us in our Elmwood Park, New Jersey office. The successful candidate will perform administrative tasks which include a broad range of responsibilities including but not limited to supporting our principals, managers, and engineering staff. This opportunity is a full-time (in-office) position.Responsibilities:Answering, forwarding and screening phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.Sorting and distributing mail.Ordering office and kitchen suppliesGreet clients and visitors with a positive, and helpful attitude.Copying, faxing, sending Federal Express packages.Schedule and manage Outlook meetings and appointments.Produce and distribute correspondence memos and letters, etc.Develop and maintain filing pany event planning.Manage workflow and ensure deadlines are met.Respond to questions and requests for information.Track PDH Credits for PrincipalsRun company errands to post office and office supply store.Provide excellent customer service.Provide general administrative and clerical support.Handle multiple projects.Qualifications:Minimum high school diplomaMust possess strong oral and written communication skillsProficient in MS Office SuiteAble to handle responsibility and work independentlyMust be detail orientedAbility to work in a busyhectic environmentMust be able to multi-taskAttention to detail and follow up skills are essentialStrong organizational skillsWillingness to learnWe offer employees competitive compensation packages, medicaldentalvision, life insurance, short, and long-term disability, paid holidays, paid time off and 401k retirement plan with company match.
