Job Type Full-timeDescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Senior National Accounts Manager to join our newly created National Accounts team to lead and manage the sales relationship with Barnes & Noble and Indigo. The successful candidate will play a critical role in pitching new titles, driving revenue, managing account relationships, and executing strategies to maximize sales across Barnes & Noble's and Indigo's national retail and online platforms. This position requires a deep understanding of the book retail landscape, strong sales acumen, and the ability to collaborate across multiple internal and external teams.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for Barnes & Noble and Indigo, developing and executing sales strategies to grow revenue and market sharePresent the Adult, Children's and Special Interest lists seasonally along with trade focused Academic titlesWork closely with internal teams such as publicity, marketing, editorial, and operations to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies and to support Barnes & Noble's evolving needsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Barnes & Noble and Indigo, ensuring alignment on sales objectives, promotional plans, and long-term business strategiesPrepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and growth opportunitiesAnalyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to drive informed decision-makingStay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences Requirements Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 7 years of sales experience in publishingAt least 2 years' experience working with B&NProven ability to meet and exceed sales targetsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate effectively to both internal teams and senior-level client contactsLocationAll candidates must reside in the NY tri-state area and be able to commute to our NY headquarters on a hybrid-remote schedule.Equal Opportunity EmploymentBloomsbury Publishing USA is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
