Mobile Medical Assistant

A healthcare company specializing in in-home visits to provide patients with convenient, high-quality medical services is seeking dedicated Medical Assistants with prior medical experience to join their team. This role involves traveling to patients' homes to perform urgent care-style tasks and assisting in telehealth consultations.Responsibilities:Conduct in-home patient visits and record vital signs.Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood draws, strep cultures, and flu tests.Collect samples such as cultures, viral swabs, and urine samplesPerform routine medical tasks such as ear examinations, basic wound care, and administering first aid as neededDrawing blood (a plus, but not required)Assist with telehealth consultations by setting up necessary technology and providing real-time clinical support to healthcare providers.Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions and clinical findings.Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards during in-home visits.Provide exceptional patient service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is a mustMinimum 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in home health or mobile care.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Access to a vehicle to travel around Brooklyn and work flexible hours.
