Description of Contract OpportunitySDL has an ongoing need for Interim Finance Executives for our clients. All positions require an experienced Finance leader to oversee the Finance function during a period of company transition and advise the executive team on Finance matters. Throughout the duration of the project the Finance leader may be asked to accomplish tasks such as:support and coordinate the organization's finance infrastructure and strategyestablishing policies and procedures setting up internal control systemsrisk systems, supporting urgent issues, managing complex finance workstreamsaudit preparation and planninglead Finance-related change management effortsleading the hiring for open positions in the Finance functionThe consultant will work closely with the CEO, C-Suite leaders and the Finance staffThese contract positions are usually full-time for 3-12 months. Sporadically, we also have part-time positions. Qualifications- Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required; masters a plus- Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 7-10 years of appropriate experience Required Skills: Extensive background in roles of progressive scope and responsibility within FinanceStrategic and innovative team player with strengths in financial controls and the ability to communicate with nonfinance colleaguesExperience engaging with a variety of leaders and stakeholdersAbility to effectively coordinate with individuals in multiple time zones and culturesAdept at facilitating cross-functional collaboration and engagement with leadership across the organizationStrong presentation and storytelling skillsAbility to easily package and present information in a consumable manner at the executive levelMust be a resilient and a "go-getter", willing to roll-up your sleeves and be hands-onAbility to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environmentAbility to manage multiple and competing prioritiesAbility to collaborate to build successful relationshipsAbility to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environmentAbility to work effectively in a virtual team environmentExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsIntermediate Microsoft Office skillsTargeted Pay RateVaries based on client.
