They strive to set a new standard in aesthetic care, blending advanced science with individual needs at every age, and every stage, all while creating a work environment where the best providers can thrive.Position Overview:The VP of Operations works with the leadership team to develop and implement project and action plans, with a focus on implementing the new store opening playbook across various locations. This role requires relocation to Los Angeles to provide hands-on leadership of their first several locations.Key Responsibilities:Operational Strategy:Develop and execute the operational strategy for launching de novo med spa locations across multiple regionsEnsure the smooth integration of services, products, and staffing with new openingsWork closely with the CEO and leadership team to set goals and performance metrics for new site rolloutsLeverage industry relationships and network to accelerate growth and operational excellenceNew Location Build-Out:Implement the new store opening playbookManage the timeline and budget for opening new med spa locations, including vendor management and contractor coordinationOversee the implementation of all physical infrastructure, IT, and client management systems to ensure readiness for new locationsPersonally drive key aspects of location launches, working directly with contractors, vendors, and staffTeam Leadership:Build and lead a high-performing operations team to support the development and growth of new locationsOversee recruitment, training, and retention of med spa staff, ensuring alignment with company culture and goalsDevelop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for clinical and non-clinical staff across all locationsFinancial Oversight:Collaborate with the finance team to establish and manage operational budgets, forecasting, and financial targets for each locationMonitor key financial metrics including profit margins, revenue growth, and cost control to ensure profitability across locationsCustomer Experience:Implement operational systems that ensure a seamless, high-quality customer experienceEstablish processes for client retention, feedback collection, and loyalty program implementationCompliance and Regulatory Management:Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare and licensing requirementsOversee the setup of compliance protocols related to medical procedures, safety standards, and HIPAAContinuous Improvement:Regularly evaluate operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement, growth, and efficiency gainsLead initiatives to optimize service delivery, patient care, and operational workflows across all locationsOther:Other duties as assignedQualifications:Education and Experience:5-7 years of operational leadership experience, with a strong preference for experience in multi-location operations within med spa, aesthetics, or a related industryProven track record of opening de novo locations, scaling businesses, and improving operational efficiencyDirect experience managing and developing teams of aesthetic practitionersEssential Skills and Abilities:Excellent leadership and team-building skills with a focus on fostering a collaborative and results-driven cultureExpert project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage shifting timelinesExperience managing vendor relationships for new location build-outs and launchesFamiliarity with regulatory requirements and compliance within the healthcare or aesthetics industryEntrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentExperience in budgeting and managing P&LsAbility to work effectively in a lean team environment where direct execution is requiredWhat They Offer:Competitive Compensation Package:Competitive cash compMeaningful equity package in a high-growth businessHealthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverageGrowth & Impact:Ground-floor opportunity to shape a rapidly growing aesthetics businessDirect involvement in strategic decisions working closely with foundersAbility to build and lead a team from scratchLocation:Based in Los Angeles working with their first flagship locationsModern, premium studios in the aesthetics industryOpportunity to establish and scale their market presence within and outside LA
