DescriptionAs a leading firm focused on internal audit, accounting and corporate finance, our goal at DLA, LLC is to continuously develop our employees and to embrace a culture that combines fun with hard work and dedication!We are actively recruiting an Operational Accounting Services Partner to establish a new vertical within our existing Accounting Advisory practice, spanning strategic FP&A, finance transformation and process improvement, financial risk management, executive reporting, treasurycash management, and more. Heshe will demonstrate accounting advisory and industry expertise as well as excellent leadership, practice building, strategic vision, project management skills, client service, and mentorshipcoaching in developing technical and professional competency. The Accounting Advisory Services Group assists finance leaders in addressing the strategic accounting and financial reporting challenges facing their businesses and finance functions. DLA's Advisory team has significant U.S. GAAP, PCAOB, SEC, and SOX expertise to help identify and resolve matters early on and target exactly what needs to be done. Our Accounting Advisory Services Include: Technical Accounting Transaction Accounting Audit Prep and assistance Technical memos IPO Readiness Financial reporting OutsourcedFractional Accounting Valuation Duties & Responsibilities:Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the operational accounting practice group that aligns with the company's overall strategy and goalsDrive business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new client opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and participating in proposal development and presentationsEmpower and motivate the team by providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to achieve their goals and build a culture of excellence and accountabilityCollaborate with other business group leaders, the CEO, President, COO, and other senior leaders to ensure alignment and support of the company's strategic initiativesMonitor industry trends and stay abreast of changes in the regulatory environment to identify opportunities and risks for the practice group and the companyCollaborate on the recruitment, retention, and development of top talent for the practice group, working closely with the HR team to ensure a strong pipeline of candidates and a positive employee experienceManage the performance of the practice group's team members, including setting expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance reviewsCollaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure the practice group's activities are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goalsFoster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the practice group and across the company, encouraging team members to leverage each other's expertise and resources to deliver high-quality workDevelop and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, such as industry associations, regulatory bodies, and other influencers, to enhance the practice group's visibility and reputation in the marketParticipate in the development of the company's annual budget and oversee the financial performance of the practice group to ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, and growth targetsFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging technology and best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the practice group's operationsKnowledge & Skills Undergraduate degree in Accounting; masters or advanced degree is desirable CPA or MBA preferred 15+ years of experience in a leadership role in the accounting advisory space Strong operational accounting and corporate finance expertise with hands-on experience overseeing the delivery of operational accounting and CFO advisory services Proven track record of driving business development and growth, with experience in strategic planning, client relationship management, and proposal developmentStrong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of professionals to achieve their goals and deliver high-quality workExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team membersKnowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technology solutions relevant to the practice group's focus areaExperience in a private equity-backed company is preferredCPACIACISA preferred Why DLA: Unlimited PTO and your Birthday is a holiday 401(k) retirement plan with a company match Commuting expenses reimbursed Continuing education courses and training Employee referral and commissions programs Robust healthcare plansOur company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
