We are seeking driven, proactive, and team-oriented professionals to join our safety consulting team in the U.S., with opportunities to contribute globally.About the Role As a Senior Fire and Explosion Risk Consultant, you will: Apply empirical and CFD-based dispersion, explosion, and fire models for consequence analysis using tools such as PHAST, FLACS, and MATLAB. Conduct hazard evaluations, including HAZID and HAZOP studies, area classifications, and both qualitative and quantitative risk assessments. Utilize your knowledge of modeling tools to analyze deflagration and explosion dynamics, overpressure effects, vapor cloud explosions, BLEVEs, and flame radiation. Write and present technical reports, collaborating with clients to communicate findings effectively. Support marketing and business development efforts to drive success. What You Bring Expertise in fire and explosion consequence modeling and hazard analysis. Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as PHAST, FLACS, and MATLAB, as well as a solid technical background in combustion and fire dynamics. Familiarity with industry standards like API, NFPA, ISO, and others. Knowledge of processes and hazards in industries like LNG facilities, refineries, and offshore installations. High-caliber communication, project management, and interpersonal skills. Experience engaging with U.S. regulators or key stakeholders in safety engineering (advantageous but not essential).
