Every employee takes a person-centered approach that exemplifies the ICARE values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence) through empathic communication and partnerships between all persons.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Associate Director for Centralized Case Management, the position is accountable for assisting the RN case manager team in updating the case manager excel spreadsheet tracker, gathering documentation from the interdisciplinary team from the Post-Acute care facilities, copying, faxing and submitting the appropriate clinical documentation to the managed plans.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesSubmit weekly clinical documentation for the skilled authorization and monthly clinical documentation for the long term authorization according to the managed plansData entry and upkeep of the case management excel tracker information in the centralized case management shared driveRespond to inquiries from the managed plans in a timely mannerAssist in preparing clinical documentation and faxing those clinical documentation to the managed plans in a timely mannerParticipate in Utilization Review meeting for all the Post-Acute facilities Communicates with RN case management team in conveying information from the managed plans to facilitate any concerns or answer questions regarding authorizationPerforms related duties, as required.Minimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Community Health, Psychology or related discipline with one year of full-time experience in a supervisory or administrative capacity in business management systems, general administration, health care and medicalpatient systems administration; or,2.
