The Marketing Manager will coordinate the creation, strategic planning, and execution of marketing strategy and communications for Guardian's Multi Life and Multi Life DI products distributed via Guardian's channels. In this role it will be important for this individual to deliver the long-term value to customer and partners while achieving superior results for them. Key partners include Line of Business teams, Marketing, Communications, Compliance, Legal, and Digital.This position reports to the Head of Life and Disability Marketing, who, in turn, reports to the Head of Product & Field Enablement Marketing for Individual Markets.Candidate ResponsibilitiesThe individual will work in collaboration with the Marketing leads, Product Development teams and Distribution sales team to set a strategy for MLMLDI line of business all to meet the objectives of the business through the development of core marketing collateral as well as initiatives including, marketing programs, sales campaigns, digital & email marketing, presentations, direct mail, newsletters, pitch books, etc. The individual will need to stay abreast of marketing, and consumeremployee engagement trends, product specifications and the driven environment, to bring fresh ideas for program development.Responsible for creating the marketing strategy for MLMLDI line of businessEvaluate, revise and develop materials used to support the sale and distribution of the manufactured productsCreate product content stories for consumers and advisorsDevelop digital post or assets for consumersCollaborate and communicate effectively with partners to deliver content and communicationsEnsure compliance review and approval of content is achievedMulti-task, listen and activate on plan.Lead print and digital inventory for Product Marketing business linesFunctional SkillsStrong knowledge of marketing standard processesStrong creative writing abilityFamiliarity with social media and marketing automationtechnology within financial services industryFamiliarity with traditional print, social and digital marketing tools standard processesWorks effectively with associates in Marketing and across the Individual Markets and Corporate CommunicationsStrong presentation skills to sell ideasproposals to customers.Strong teammate. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
