Job Description:Job Title Institutional Client Group, ICG COO, AmericasCorporate Title Vice PresidentLocation New York, NYOverviewYou will be joining the Institutional Client Group (ICG) Chief Operating Officer (COO) group, which supports the team which manages the Bank's relationships with institutional clients across the Fixed Income product suite. ICG facilitates primary origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) product suite and financing to institutional clients, including financials, asset managers, pension funds, insurers, hedge funds, private equity, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds. This role will primarily support the US Flow & Structured Rates desk within the US as well as supporting the Short Term and Repo desk sales teams. You will be the sole Business ManagerCOO supporting the Rates desk which is a dynamic and growing team within ICG and so will have significant management visibility as well as scope to drive different projects. You will work closely with the Americas ICG COO to support on driving the client strategy effort in region including client reviews, strategy decks, initiative tracking and revenue forecasting & reporting.What We Offer You A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaborationA hybrid working model, allowing for in-office work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer daysEmployee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagementCompetitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefitsEducational resources, matching gift, and volunteer programsWhat You'll Do Support the broader Americas Rates teams as Business Manager on items such as day to day coverage, client strategy & presentations, revenue forecastingreporting & analysis, deal pipeline management, revenue credit posting, etcDefine and create revenue reporting and management information system for the teams as well as weeklymonthly management packs and updates to senior managementPartner with Rates Trading Business Management on overall Macro initiatives in the region such as new product rollouts, new trading technologiesPartnering with HR, Know-Your-Client compliance, business continuity and infrastructure functions on items like new team member onboarding, controls, remediation items and operational issues, new client onboardingDrive client and spend profitability analyses within the Rates complex to ensure correct resource allocation to appropriate clients as well as ensuring rates client perimeter remains in a controlled stateHow You'll LeadManaging Americas teams overall DACB spend on items such as T&E and events; partner with the regional heads of Rates on strategic initiatives and strategy decksPrepare updates & business review presentations for senior managementParticipate in working groups for bank wide strategic initiativesSkills You'll Need Strong Project Management skillset with proven record of owning and delivering on tasksFamiliarity with Deutsche Bank - specifically internal processes, Business Management, Finance, or controlsBackground in Markets or Corporate Bank products a plusAdvanced with respect to quantitative skills and have the ability to interpret business and economic data and assess the implications of both with regards to client requirementsSkills That Will Help You ExcelStrong communication skills - both written & verbalComfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentAble to demonstrate the ability to navigate complex organizationsDriven and dedicated to help the team succeedExpectationsIt is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability andor religion.The salary range for this position in New York City is $170K to $200K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
