Dearborn Street Chicago, ILJob Type: Full-timeJob Number: 2025-3Department: Circuit Executive Court of AppealsOpening Date: 01132025 Position Overview, Position Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals seeks an experienced architect to help create inviting and functional spaces.Position SummaryThe Architect Project Manager oversees design, construction, renovation, remodeling, cyclical maintenance, and tenant alteration projects within the circuit and will report to the Assistant Circuit Executive for Space and Facilities. The major responsibilities and duties of this position include:Managing Judicial Council Business for Space and Facilities. Manage space and facilities projects from start to finish. Acting as Court of Appeals' liaison with other courts, government agencies, General Services Administration (GSA), US Marshals, third parties, and contractors. Ensuring court and government policies are followed.Extensive travel within the circuit will be required.Creating and presenting concept designs for the public, judges, and staff.Assisting courts in obtaining centralized funding.Providing design support as needed.Performing other duties as assigned.
