Job DescriptionABM Industries is searching for a Regional Vice President, Mission Critical Solutions to lead our West region. The ideal candidate will preferably be in the Los Angels area but qualified candidates in the San Francisco area are also welcome to apply. The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Mission Critical Solutions Services will lead Area & Department leaders to drive consistent operations throughout the business. The RVP will work with operations management to ensure project management, field personnel, and other resources are aligned to assure that quality projects are performed on time, within budget and to clients' satisfaction. The RVP will ensure all field work and deliverables for preventive maintenance contracts are completed on time and in accordance with established MOPs. The RVP will be ultimately responsible for all Mission Critical Operations involving critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure as well as SLA achievement for customers in the region. The RVP has responsibility for the revenue and profitability of each region, as well as development and ownership of the execution of core services go to market strategy. The position is a key executive leadership role that drives continuous improvement, and operational efficiency for all aspects of the business segment. The RVP reports to the Senior Vice President of ABM Mission Critical Solutions and supports all business initiatives. ABM Mission Critical Solutions does whatever it takes to ensure uptime. Our mission is to be the United States' most reliable extension of our client's team offering customizable, self-performed installation, operations, maintenance, repair and replacement of critical infrastructure including Switchgear, ATS, Generators, UPS, Batteries, and Critical Cooling Equipment. Essential Functions: Accountable for the financial results of Regional Mission Critical operations. Establishes operating policies & procedures that align with organizational goals Oversee the budget forecasting process to drive accurate projections based on the latest information available. Presents monthlyquarterly and YE reviews as well as tracking and reporting of strategic initiatives and key performance metrics. Directly involved in managing job analysis and creating sustainable staffing models to ensure consistent profitability on all jobs, and to identify and make improvements where necessary. Leads the project and service contract review process for design projects of various scale across country to ensure compliance with operating policies Identify & develop leaders within the organization to prepare for future growth and succession planning. Collaborates with sales & estimating experts to ensure accuracy, profitability, and competitive advantage during the bidding stage. Drive recruitment and hiring of key operations personnel in the region with our Branch teams and Talent AcquisitionHR teams. Works with key external and internal customers to establish relationships that result in better business outcomes. Drives a culture of safety following required safety activities. Provide regular feedback to Senior Vice President of Mission Critical Solutions on status of large projects and key growth opportunities, particularly if there are difficulties (ex: schedule delay, installation difficulties, scope of work changes). Support and promote new company initiatives and process improvements Function as Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s) as needed. Act as technical leader of critical electrical and mechanical systems and oversee all aspects of critical physical infrastructure and assets pertaining to the Operations and Maintenance contract. Manage the customer relationship as the single point-of-contact for all facility-related issues and ensure compliance of Customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) parameters. Manage the operations budget and expenditures of assigned contracts. Supervise and escalate the response to after-hours emergencies. Ensure that all work is performed to the highest quality, in accordance associated MOPs and without impact to internalexternal stakeholders. Ensure that all maintenance and repair work is scheduled, communicated to the customer, completed in a timely manner, and documented in appropriate (Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), per SLAs. Other responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 15+ years' experience in related environments US Citizen Strategic Vision and Servant Leadership Mission Critical Mindset (247365 business, the phone is always on) Minimum (10) years' experience with P&L ownership Minimum (10) years project or service management with ABM or in the data center industry Minimum (5) years of client facing sales or account management role responsible for revenue growth Minimum (5) years managing a multimillion-dollar labor budget Must have working knowledge of office equipment and Microsoft Office products to include but not limited to Microsoft Projects, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to present at the highest executive level of the company Ability to manage change at a large scale with multiple direct and indirect reports Experience generating cost savings through multiple continuous improvement activities.Pay: $143,500 - $266,500The pay listed is the salary range for this position.
